Highly successful in the dressage arena in 2005, winning the Queensland State Championships in Preliminary and Novice, with an average of 74.6% in the Novice tests. Rubin also won the 2005 EFA Novice and Young Horse of the Year awards. He achieved 100 EFA points in just six competitions.
